Isa Loundon Flaherty

Leveraging her energy for connection and culture, Isa has been working in the community for more than 15 years to empower young women and children, currently mentoring in the Global Give Back Circle and as a board member of Doing Good Together. She currently serves as the public relations lead for Microsoft’s multi-billion dollar Azure hybrid cloud business, where she executes campaigns, develops media strategy, creates and edits high-visibility content, and brings together cross-functional, cross-discipline teams.

Her pro bono and past board work includes Project Rhythm, a non-profit dedicated to reaching children through music, and StepUp Women’s Network in New York City; previous speaking engagements include the Society of Women and Engineers national conference.

Scarlet Parke

Originally from Seattle, Washington, songwriter and producer Scarlet is often described as the perfect blend of two music powerhouses: Amy Winehouse and Ariana Grande. She’s been named an artist to watch by Refinery 29, Seattle Times, Seattle Refined, Revolt TV, and Voyage LA and has partnered with major artistic talents including Miguel (“Upstream,” 2017), Lizzo (“Capitol Hill Block Party,” 2019), JP Saxe (2019), and Bon Entendeur (The Echo 2020).

In her latest EP, “Dreamgirl,” listeners are hearing a different side of Parke. "This album changed my life and helped me through one of the toughest times in my life (and the world). Every song is a different stage of learning how to set boundaries and fall in love with myself (la music) all over again! I hope it empowers everyone who listens to it.”

Topeka K. Sam

Topeka has worked and continues to work selflessly and relentlessly in her fight for the dignity, decriminalization, and decarceration of women and girls. She is the CEO of The Ladies of Hope Ministries and founder and President of EPIC Financial, TKS Ventures LLC, and Faces & Voices Inc. She serves on the board of directors for Coalition for Public Safety, The Marshall Project, Operation Restoration, and United Justice Coalition.

Since her release from federal prison on May 5, 2015, Topeka has led the national bi-partisan effort to pass 20 pieces of legislation restoring the Dignity for Incarcerated Women. In December 2020, Topeka received a full presidential pardon for her dedication to helping women turn from a path of despair towards a path of redemption.

Ming-Ming Tung-Edelman

Ming-Ming is the founder and executive director of Refugee Artisan Initiative (RAI). As an immigrant from Taiwan, Ming-Ming understands the challenges refugees and immigrants face. She wants to connect these women with the skills they have and opportunities to earn income to provide for their families in America. RAI combines Ming-Ming's compassion and her love for fashion and sustainability in a circular and equitable economy, as it keeps excess textiles out of the landfills while creating jobs for refugee and immigrant women.

Denise Balthrop Cassidy

Denise is joy-scatterer, philanthropist, activist, spouse, and mom. Her 30-plus year career as a theatre professional included touring the U.S. performing with the National Players, singing for the troops with the Department of Defense, teaching acting behind the Iron Curtain for the US Information Agency, serving as a Resident Professional Theatre Associate at Cornell University, and acting on stages large and small across the country.

As an actor, Denise also worked to bring focus to the AIDS health crisis, advocated for survivors, and campaigned with political candidates who made this a priority.

Denise helped One Love Foundation establish a presence in the Seattle area, and proudly serves on both its Pacific NorthWest regional advisory board and national board of directors.

Tara Simmons

Tarra is the Director of the Civil Survival Project, and has served on the Washington State Legislature representing the 23rd Legislative District since 2020. She believes those closest to the problem are closest to the solution and should have an integral role in leading the end of mass incarceration and healing its aftermath.

Prior to law school, Ms. Simmons was incarcerated for reasons related to her childhood trauma, violence, poverty, and a substance use disorder. She graduated from Seattle University School of Law in May 2017, magna cum laude, with the Dean’s Medal and the Graduating Student Award, but was initially denied the right to take the bar exam because of her criminal history. The Washington State Supreme Court ruled unanimously in her favor, allowing her to take the bar exam and become a member of the Washington State Bar Association.
